How busy will the week after the ESPN weekend March 5th be?

I'm now in a panic because I tried to upgrade to tower for our stay at the Contemporary and there are no rooms availiable. Is this normal? I am scared it will be really crowded and I can't stand waiting in lines. I thought March would be slow, but maybe we should go back to our February date.

Not sure how ESPN weekend will affect the crowds, but many schools are starting their spring breaks at that time.

We are going to be at WDW during the sametime as you in March. We have been this same week over the years and its usually not to bad crowd wise. The crowds will start picking up the weekend of March 11th. That being said we have also been in February and the crowds are less than March. If given a choice I would go the last week of February. I will be there the week of March 5th. It is going to be pretty busy. I thought that it would not be that busy but I was wrong. Hopefully it will be warm so that will make up for the long lines. I hear that it is rated a 7 that week on the scale to 1-10. 10 being the busiest.
