How busy will MK be?

We have a late afternoon flight into Orlando the day after thanksgiving. We weren't planning to go to a park that night but now I see that MK is open till 11 with emh till 1am. I know this is supposed to be a very busy day, but how busy will it be by around 9/10 that evening through 1am?

In general, after about 11PM, a park will see far fewer guests.

generally the later mk is opened the more crowded they expect it to be.. it'll be a nice crowd up until the fireworks and then start to drop down.. generally when it's after midnight it drops really fast with number of people that are there.

We had good luck on previous late nt EMH during Thanksgiving week. It is always hit or miss with evening hrs., but when we were there, once it hit 11:30-12:00, we walked on most rides, including Buzz, Splash, and HM, waiting about 20 for BTMRR(MK was open till 1 with EMH till 3). I do have to say that Black Friday was the busiest day at MK while we were there, so could be crazier that nt. It also depends on your plans for your first full day - if you want to be up to RD on Sat. and do a full day, then you might just want to settle in at your resort.

Thank you all for your thoughts! If we stay at MK till 1am we will probably sleep in the next morning and then go play a round of minigolf, then head to EPCOT where we have a Candlelight Processional dinner reservation.

In the past you would see a good chunk of people leaving after Wishes. Now that the 9:45 Celebrate the Magic has been replaced with the 10:45 Once Upon a Time, you have to expect that many people will stick around longer to see that. But I would imagine a large portion of the park would be leaving at 11, and from then till 1am should be reasonable. I would just avoid the Main Street area unless you plan to see those 2 shows.
