We will be at DL on Easter Day. I am hoping crowds will be lighter that day. Anybody know what past Easter crowds have been like?

Very busy.

A) It's a weekend
B) It's a weekend that many people have off
C) It's right smack in the middle of Spring Breaks from around the country

With that said, by arriving early (before park opening) and using FP a lot, ride lines aren't that big of a deal, even during busy times.

Thanks for the info! :) We will be arriving early every day (Fri - Tues) next weekend. I have never been on Easter Day before so didn't know if that day would be lighter than the days before and after.
We were there last 4th of July and expected huge crowds. But it wasn't as bad as I expected because we get lots of fast passes and the crowds didn't get really bad until late in the day.

I think it will be very busy, but I think there are holidays that are busier. I try to gauge busy days by the deluxe black out calendar for the AP's and that date is not blacked out.

I called DL to ask this Q a few weeks ago. Since we went over Halloween and it was PACKED I wanted to go when it wasnt so busy. The gal told me it would be twice as packed over Easter week. We changed our plans... so we will be 4 less in the crowd for you! :lmao:

We have been most major holidays, Memorial day, Labor day, Mothers day, Christmas, the Fourth of July and the kick off day to the 50th anniversary. Busy yes, but we would not even hesitate going again on any of those! Most of the people come with good intentions and enjoy themselves, so what if you stand in line a little longer. Sure do meet some nice people from all over the world and we're just plain old working folks that have to plan vacations around holidays off. Dont think we'd enjoy it as much with out the crowds, I guess were different like that. So this Good Friday we head on down to have a hopefully sunny Easter week and make some more memories:yay:

We were there last Easter and yes, it was incredibly busy! Saturday was insane with Spring Break and locals. Sunday was also very busy until evening and then I noticed a huge difference in numbers. Obviously, people had to leave to get back to work on Monday. Take breaks on the busy days, we did! I know you'll still have a great time!:thumbsup2
