So, we've got our Frequent Fear passes for Universal, still not sure which night to go to MNSSHP until we get there - we have been to orlando in october before but not for Halloween day/night. Will it be busier then usual? The consensous i seem to be getting is to just hang out at DDDisney or Boardwalk and not go to the events on the evening.

Last year I went to one of the parks during the morning, than hung out at the pool before getting ready for MNSSHP which we attended on Halloween night and I have to say I really didn't find it any busier than any other day that we were there for that vacation. I didn't find the party partcularly busy than those I had been to the year before not on Halloween night.

I've also been to Universal Fright Nights on Halloween in the past and also found this not to be too busy as there are set amount of tickets sold, so don't be put off from attending special events if you want.

The resorts have Halloween events and so does Downtown Disney that night if you were interested.

Can only comment on universal horror nights we've been 4 times and find the weekend really busy over 1 hour wait for the houses. So i would go midweek and keep the date you go as far away from haloween as possible especially if you want to do all the houses.

Hmmm well I must admit it was 2000 or 2001 the last time I did Universal on Halloween so it could have changed, but we always did the mazes/houses first thing and then did the shows or attractions later in the evening. I'm sure we didn't do all the houses but the longest we q'd for anything was for Terminator and that was 30 minutes towards the end of the night.

Certainly MNSSHP on Halloween last year the longest line we encountered was for our pictures, otherwise we didn't wait more than 15 minutes for any attraction and a lot were walk ons
