How busy do you think it will be on Sun 17th and Mon the 18th. I know it will be bad, but how bad?

Miserable? Not doable? How long do you expect lines to be?

Blackjack and Hydroguy, I need you!

I agree with skiingfast. By all estimates that I have seen here and on other sites(are there really any other sites? LOL), its gonna be nuts. But, I don't think there is really such a thing as not doable. Busy times can be managed and still a lot of fun.

Not Blackjack and not Hydroguy, but I'll chime in anyway. It's going to be busy. We were there this past Sat-Tues. Saturday afternoon/evening was nice. Sunday was busy. Monday felt busier. We saw a wait time of 85 minutes for Space once, 70 minutes for Indy, 60+ minutes for Toy Story. Screamin' was commonly 35-45 minute wait when we were back there. Bear in mind we don't hang out much at the parks at the busiest middle of the afternoon time, so I don't know what wait times were like then. Anaheim schools were off, and many other schools were off as well. The week you're looking at I believe a lot of Los Angeles area schools are out as well as lots of Sacramento ones, and it's the week before Easter, so I expect it will be a popular time. Just follow all the advice repeated here on these boards about getting to the gates before opening, using fastpass, and eating at non-peak times. We had a great time, but we've had a lot of experience maneuvering around the crowds. We also are not people who need to ride the headliners over and over every day (but, yes, we definitely hit all the headliners along with a bunch of other stuff).

This is the beginning of two extremely busy weeks in Disneyland. But you know your way around, you know all the tricks...go and have a good time! :)

I was at Disneyland Yesterday (technically, just got back). It was busy, but not bad if you know your way around. Totally doable and we had a fun time. We didn't get to the park till 11ish even though we prefer to be there at open.

There were some long wait times, but being flexible and taking a laid back approach keeps it fun. We did have to skip Rapunzel. Her line has grown with the recent release of the DVD and increased attendance. We capped the night off with some ElecTRONica and a bit of Disneyland after. The late sprinkles and cold weather seems clear the park a bit.

Like everyone said, the deal on dining is a give away to what Disney expects attendance wise. Take advantage of it, save money and enjoy off peak dining.

Well, I'm not Blackjack or Hydroguy, but as a very long time DLR "goer," I will offer my input for whatever you think it's worth.

Busy. Very busy. Bring your patience. Remember that you are at Disneyland and just enjoy what you are able to do instead of trying to do it all.

It's the start of the two weeks that Southern California passes are blocked out. It's the start of the week leading into Easter weekend. Did I mention busy?

Sunday will be worse than Monday, but both will be busy. Crowded busy. "Why is everyone here?" busy. Just plain busy.

But, I'm not Blackjack or Hydroguy, so maybe you will have the entire place to yourself. :goodvibes

- Dreams (who would not go anywhere near DLR the last two weeks of April if it were not for friends asking me to go with them)
