how busy is woc? is dinner really worth it

WOC and Fantasmic! are the only things driving me absolutely crazy for our June trip! I have considered the WCT WOC dinner, and I am also kicking around Mouse Expeditions. I would really like for my group to see the show, but I just can't wrap my brain around this whole process. We normally do WDW, but we have never seen Fantasmic. Maybe I should save this show for WDW so we can at least sit on a bench while waiting.

Well, WDW doesn't have WOC. Additionally, Fantasmic is EASIER and more comfortable to see at WDW, but the show is sooooooo much better at DL!! I wouldn't recommend skipping it. I've seen it literally over 100 times at WDW (used to work there) and I still plan in waiting several hours to see it at DL this December. It's THAT much better!

I would use mouse expeditions for Fantasmic and get dining package for WOC, we had dinner at Ariels Grotto in May before it was changed to Carthary Circle, and it was totally worth it for us to be up in the front (bring your ponchos)! It is an amazing show, the shows at DLR are far superior to the shows at WDW! I've been to WDW at least 14 times in past 16 years and I went to DLR 2x this year! I love both parks for different reasons, but the shows are phenomenal at DLR, just be prepared for crowds! I've never seen crowds so bad at WDW?

For Fantasmic! I would try for the Dessert Seating as it seems less stressful and you get an actual seat. You need to book 30 days out though. They were sold out by the time we made the decision and so we skipped seeing it on our trip. Although Mouse Expeditions has had some good reviews on here, you will still be sitting on the ground in an extremely crowded area.
