How busy is WDW The 1st week in Aug?

I was wondering cause my son will be truning 10 on aug 3rd and I want to take him for his B-day.

We were just there Aug. 1-8 and we have never seen it that busy! We went in July in 2001 and Aug. in 2002 and we don't remember it being nearly as busy! We assume lots of other folks got the same great discounts we did!
The most crowded park was MK with the other parks being busy but managable.
I'm afraid most of the summer seems to be equally busy with the exception of late Aug. when most kids have returned to school!
We didn't let it slow us down, just used fast pass, new what we really wanted to do and slowed down a little this trip!

We went July 26 - Aug 3rd for the past two years in a row.

I remember last summer being much more busier, with longer lines and more crowds. This summer was not too bad - actually quite managable. We had a great time.

Last summer it seemed to rain more that this summer too. We had a few days with no rain at all.
