Following: I’ll be there on Saturday and plan on doing Universal 4 PM to close while we are there. Hope the park thins out.

When in April ? Looks like right now they are going back to closing 5 p.m. after spring break ends the first week and a half of the month. Covid has had them with reduced hours in non holiday times.

I can't wait to experience the parks at night! I was thrilled when I realized that the hours were extended to 10p during my trip next month. It's spring break so I'm sure it will be busy regardless of the time of day. Either way, we'll still plan on being in the park after dark!

We decided to spend a night on site so I’m excited to see Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley at night! It’s also open till 10pm. Likely we’ll leave for an afternoon break and then head back to park in early evening.

I know it varies from day to day, but when we have stayed into the evening the crowds seem to get lower when the sun goes down. It seems like the parks hit their biggest boom around midday and then die out a good bit around dinner time.

We're usually there on busy times (Thanksgiving, President's Day weekend), and really enjoy being at the park when it closes late. Diagon Alley is great at night with the reduced crowds. The castle is also nice when it is lit up and Hagrid's is more fun in the dark.

So does this mean it’s easier to get a table at 3 Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron for dinner than lunch?
Worried about wait times for a table during peak lunch times so we may plan for Mythos lunch and dinner in WWoHP.

Never try and eat lunch after 11:30. Dinner and mid-day is quieter. In general, at any museum, zoo, amusement park...that is the rule. I don't know why everyone shows up at noon to eat but they do. :)

Is parks close at 10 will all shops and restaurants in WWoHP close at 10? Or do any close early?
What about rides? Are there any in the parks that close early?
