We are hoping to visit WDW the weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I have read conflicting information regarding how crowded it is. Can someone compare it to another time of year so I can have a better idea of what to look forward too. I've been during April, May and the week after labor day.

We went Jan 13-19 of this year and it was pretty busy-not so busy that it was crazy but busy . If I remember correctly, the marathon was around this time as well. We went to Universal (I know-GASP!) on the Saturday of the weekend and it was packed! On Sunday, dh & 2 ds's headed over to ESPN to watch football playoff games and they waited over an hour just to get in. Overall, I would say that we really didn't have longer than a 10-15 minute wait on anything other than the Safari ride which we chose not to fast pass. The weather was cool during the day and downright freezing at night so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Just be prepared for anything weather wise. We are from the northeast and we were still freezing!

Anytime there is a "holiday" including Jersey Week, the parks will be busy. You might not be able to walk onto every ride but if you use fast pass then it shouldn't be too bad. But it will definatly be busy. Many locals will also be visiting as well so I would keep that in mind. Its not as crowded as Christmas or Easter or even Presidents week but it will be BUSY.

Good Luck with your planning.
