How busy is MGM on Saturday ?

Hi and Welcome!
Saturday is an Early Morning Hour opening for the Studios so it will be very busy. If you are staying at a Disney Resort take advantage of the extra hour and get there before the 8am opening. You will then have the time to do several rides and attractions before the main gate opens to the public.
If you like thrill rides get a FP for either R n R or TOT and then get on the standby line for the other. Keep doing this if you want to continue on these until they get too crowded and then move on to another area of the park.
NOTE that if you cannot participate in the early morning you way want to skip Saturday at the Studios. All the EMH parks tend to get very busy as the morning goes one.
Keep checking these boards for really great advice!!!

Thanks for the quick response. We are staying on site at the
POP . I have a couple of months to decide what to do.

Thanks a bunch !

We went in the afternoon (about 4 pm) on July 10 and waited no more that 15 minutes for all but TOT and RRRc which had 25 minute waits.

Great point by LoveThoseLabbies about later in the afternoons. It's probably a good strategy to go early, get out when the park gets crowded, and come back again later in the day (or go to another park).
We have been at the Studios late in the day and the lines dwindle and it's really great!

We were there on Sat, July 10th as well. We went for EMH and stayed all day until about 9:30 pm. I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. We used fast pass for ToT and RnR (the lines were long there) but we didn't wait longer than 20 minutes for any of the other attractions. We went back to MGM the following Monday, a non-EMH day, and the corwds and lines were much worse than on Saturday.
