I just realized when I recieved my ds class schedule that we could get one more trip out of our AP's, but it would have to be May 28 - June 7, over the Memorial Day weekend. Just wondering if the crowds would be too extreme. We've been the first week of June a couple of times and crowds were not too bad. Thanks for any help!! :confused3

I heard this year it was very busy and very hot. Two things I like to avoid at WDW but if you can only get there then, then go!

We were there this past June the first week. It wasn't terribly crowded but more crowded than we like and it was HOT!! VERY HOT!! Bring your mister fans!

We were there over Memorial Weekend and the following week in 2002. The weekend itself was busy and crowded, but the crowds seem to reduce significantly by Monday and Tuesday. We had a great week. If you follow some touring plans (like in the unofficial guide book) you shouldn't have any problems seeing everything you want to see. We are planning to head back the same week in 2005 also!

Thanks everyone - Looks like I'd better start planning on a May trip!!

We were there this year May 29-June 12 this year. We went to MGM that Sunday because we wanted to see the Star Wars Weekend stuff. The park was crowded but we snagged a couple of fastpasses, looked around, stood in a few stand by lines and it wasnt to bad. Of course we didnt expect to get much done that weekend anyway. Monday we stayed out of the parks and had dinner at Ohana but the bus driver told us the MK was not busy that day. Maybe many hit the pools or waterparks to avoid the crowds.
We are planning on going back the same time this year-due to school schedules. Be sure to take advantage of e-nights!

unbelievably hot and crowded; but better than no trip at all!

we (insanely and naively LOL) planned our wedding for that weekend; we had no idea that it was the busiest time of the year for WDW bar none (that is what CM's told us anyway) it was REALLY hot but with ice cream servings distributed liberally throughout the day, we overcame and had a great time!!!

Wouldn't be my first choice of a time of year to go, but again, it's better than not taking a trip so if if that is the only time you can go, be prepared and go for it! :) the good part about it being so busy is that the parks are open later, and when I go during off season i really miss being in the MK at night.

Last year it was more crowded the second week of June, the week of the 7th, than it was over Memorial weekend.

We always go that week. We used the touringplans.com recommendations for which park to visit each day assuming summer season, not spring, per Len Testa. We avoided MK on Saturday by using it as our water park day. If you are used to the summer months, the temps will be pretty much the same. Take advantage of the UG touring plans and you should do just fine. We actually catch the end of the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT. DH and I both love to garden.
