How busy is labor weekend?

My sisters birthday falls on this weekend while we are at wdw, I am planing a meal at citicos for her so was thinking of spending the day at MK so it will be easier to get to the Grand Flordian. Will it be very busy? my sisters birthday is on the saturday.

Our last trip to WDW included labour weekend. Despite all the warnings we decided to visit Epcot on Labour Day. the place was heaving with a 2 1/2 hour wait for Soarin! we left very shortly after arriving. The weekend should be fine I would just say stay away from the parks at all costs on Labour Day.

It will be pretty busy - not as bad as say Easter but MK I would probably avoid. I would have suggested Epcot, but maybe not looking at what sandsal says! We were in Epcot on the Friday of Labor Day weekend this year and it was not too busy (but it rained solidly in the middle of the day for ages so this would have contibuted to that )

I would have thought that the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day would be pretty busy as well as Labor Day itself though.

Hi, Thank you for your replies, its will be my sisters 18th Birthday so I want it to be special. maybe we will go to sea world as she was disappointed that she did not get to ride the coaster there on her trip in September due to rain.
