How busy is it?

We are planning on going to Universal March 28th - April 1st. I was just wondering how busy is it this time of year. I was just wondering if we should stay on site, so we can get the express pass. I was also considering staying off site to save some money, but if it is really busy and packed this time of year I would rather not. Any suggestions would help, Thank you.

It's starting to get busy since schools are starting to let out for Spring Break. If you can swing staying onsite, I would strongly recommend it...mainly for the unlimited Express access.
