I heard an old adage saying Halloween Horror Nights is not too busy on Halloween. It may not be too busy because it is not a night for Frequent Fear pass holders, but Saturdays tend to be busy regardless. Usually, how busy is Halloween Horror Nights on Halloween? I'm debating on whether or not to get the Express pass or use the Attraction Assistance pass due to my foot. I will be doing Stay and Scream.

It might be different this year as it is a Saturday but last year I went on Halloween which was a Friday. We bought express passes as we went the year before and barely saw anything but last year, we only really needed express for Halloween, the Walking Dead and Giggles and Gore, I think it was called, the clown house. Even with express some had decent waits. Otherwise, some of them, the stand by line was 15 minutes or less.

Seeing as you are doing the Stay and Scream, you can easily get 3-4 houses out of the way right away, depending which holding area you go to. Not sure which holding areas let you out where, I should probably look into that as I'm going on the 1st lol. But do that and if the express passes haven't sold out I believe you can buy them during the event, someone correct me if I'm wrong. The passes are quite a bit of money, for Halloween they are $109.99 and I know last year we felt like we wasted the money as we really didn't need it.

I'm also going on the first of November and hoping for a nice, crowd-free park!

I went last year on November 1, which was a Saturday. The soundstage houses were running a 30-45 minute wait all night. The others had a 5-25 minute wait. Halloween had a 25 minute wait at around 7:00 pm ad the others in the Simpsons area had a 5 minute wait.

I was debating on going on November 1 as well. I will do as much as I can get done on October 31 and then do the houses that I missed on November 1.

That's not too bad of a wait. The first year I went I missed out on Cabin in the Woods as it was sitting at 120 minutes or longer the whole night.

I don't know if it's anything like the Halloween events we have here, but I know at the one here when I worked it a few years back, November 1st and 2nd were dead. But then again MNSSHP on November 1st is sold out so who knows how it's gonna turn out.
