How busy is evening EMH at MK?

I was just wondering how crowded does the Magic Kingdom evening EMH (8 p.m. - 10 p.m.) get on the same day the Electric Parade and Wishes is going on? Would it be better to avoid the park that evening and view the parade and wishes on another day at MK?

MK will be crowded on those nights, due to so many other evenings being closed for the MVMCP hard ticket events.

Also, since the PM EMH takes place so early, many more guests will be awake and able to take part.

I was there last Nov, from the 12th-19th, and went to MK every evening there wasn't a MVMCP going on, EMH night and not, and the crowds were never that bad, I thought the crowds were very manageable the whole time I was there, and I hate crowds, that's one of the reasons I go in Nov. just go with the mind set they will be a little heavy and you won't have a problem. I have been to much worse busy times. It's Disney, it's all good.

Is there a spot you recommend and how early should I claim my spot?

I think anywhere along the route is good, but keep in mind are you leaving afterwards? Then you would want to be close to the entrance. Which ride/area are you going to next? There is some benches along the route but they will be 4 deep in front of you. I would arrive at least 30 minutes before show starts. I'm pretty sure the parade starts by the entrance of the park. Just remember don't let people push you out of your spot or let them get in front you. Some people are very rude during this time.

Yes. MSEP starts near the firehouse and exits near Splash Mtn.
