How busy do the canoes get?

In all of our trips, we have never done the canoes because we always go in the off season. We will be there Friday afternoon and I just wondered how long the wait gets for this?

Yesterday (Sunday) around noon, there was about a 10 minute wait.

The Canoes open at 11:00am.

We got in line at ~11:15am and the wait was only 3 minutes*.

I think the wait times in the afternoon are longer (20 to 30 minutes?).

We've never waited more than 20 min. or so for the canoes, they are tons of fun.

The longest I've ever waited for the canoes was around 20 minutes, and that was during the CP weekend last December.

Usually the wait is around less than 5 minutes to 10 minutes.

Is it akward, unsafe (AKA Canoe tip over potential) for a pooh sized person to go on these?

I think it would be safe because the Canoes are large. The canoe can hold 22 people (20 Guests and 2 buff CMs).

My husband is larger and he has never had a problem on the canoes. By larger I mean he is 6' 1" and near 375 lbs., he is part Samoan.
