How busy are the Resorts in Oct?

Hey guys!

I've been to WDW in October many times over the years BUT i've never stayed in a DVC Resort during October & i know October is the busiest month for DVC.

So with that in mind will we (family & I) be able to notice how busy the Resorts are? (Kidani & BLT more specifically) especially around the Pool areas? As we'd be spending alot of time around the Pool(s). Because i know you can't always 'notice' or 'feel' how busy the Resorts are when they are fully booked (with CR you can tell quite easily because everything is all in one place). My Uncle's family stayed at Kidani towards the end of October last year & he said the Resort was pretty much full but you wouldn't of noticed - it didn't 'feel' it.

So i wanted to get others opinions.

I've been in January, April, May, October, November and December and wouldn't say that I notice any one time being that much busier than another. The pools really depend much more on how nice the weather is and anytime it's warm out I find them to be busy. Last October we were at BCV and SAB was not crazy IMO.

I'll add that the BLT pool is fairly small so that one can "feel" the people more than others. However the CR pool is just a short walk - closer than the walk from BCV to SAB I think so you've got another option there.

We go almost every October, as that is our favorite time of year to visit. We don't think the resorts are crowded at all. Last year we stayed at OKW, BWV, and AKV and all didn't seem that crowded. We used the pool at every resort, and there were not very many people there. Granted we were there earlier in the day, maybe around lunchtime, so not sure if that had anything to do with it and people were still at the parks.

We've done late October or early November for a number of years. Great weather and medium to light crowds. MNSSHP gets crowded and F&W can clog up Epcot, but all in all a great time to be there.

I hit a cool rainy Halloween time a few years ago. I don't remember the resort feeling particularly crowded. We were at VWL.
