How busy are the parks after Jan 1st?

Our kids are out of school until Jan 7th. We usually head to WDW in Dec. However we are thinking maybe a change in pace. Are the parks really busy after Jan. 1st? We arethinking about going 1/1/08-1/05/08. Thanks for any help!!!

That week it should still be a little busy, but not terribly as most of the Florida schools go back on the 2nd.

We've been at the start of Jan for past couple of years and the parks have been REALLY quiet - almost spookily so the whole of Jan.

Go for it you should be able to get on everything no worries.

Thanks for the info!!! Now wondering if we shouldstay at US resorts so we can use the resort option of shorter lines or not.
