Hello.

Can anyone tell me how busy they think the park may be this weekend coming?. Also, does anyone know what hours are the 'Magic Hours'?...
We are staying in the resort and the magic hours are included, though not sure what times they are effective. Thanks

Magic Hours are from 8am until 10 am, when guests at Disney Hotels and Dream Pass holders will be allowed into Disneyland Park. Fantasyland and Discoveryland will be open but other guests will not be allowed into them until 10 o'clock. Not all rides in those lands will be open though.

Can't help with how busy it will be though.

Hi Khemica . Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Thanks for the replies. They were helpful.... another question, we are staying at the Cheyenne, which does not have a pool. Is there a place or places in the resort where guests can go swimming??.

Also, we are half board catering, in our list of restuarants we can go to on our package, it includes resturants in the neighbouring hotels, i am confused in whether we are able to used these restuarants or not. Are we only to be able to go to just the one in our own hotel, or can we use the neighbouring hotel resturants too? Hope ppl understand what I mean!!...lol. :confused3

Hi !

I'm not sure if the week-end coming will be crowded, usually it's not in february, except for some holidays week-end (can't remember if french holidays have started or not...)

Each time I went, DLP was empty during EMH, so it's a great time to enjoy rides ! Here the ones you'll be able to ride :
-Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast (very fun to ride again and again at 8am !)
-Space Mountain : Mission 2
-Orbitron
-Snow White adventures
-Peter Pan's Flight (don't miss it, it's crowded in the afternoon)
-Le Carroussel de Lancelot
-Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
-Dumbo the flying elephant (if you are with kids it's a classic, but also crowded in the afternoon)

You won't be able to go swimming anywhere if you stay at the Cheyenne, but you can go to any resort restaurant you wish, there's no problem ! (But the Cheyenne's restaurant is really good !)

Thats right - on your half board plan, you can eat at any of the restaurants on it - including the other hotels. They are not restricted in any way to just their own hotel guests :) .

Very much appreciated... Does anyone know what area of the park the Hurricanes Nightclub is? and is it a family venue or are there age restrictions?...

Hurricanes is in the Village and I think it is only for over 18s but Im not sure

Minors are allowed into Hurricanes accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, although to be honest it doesn't get very good reviews and by all accounts has extortionate prices.

Thanks... apparently there is a supermarket just outside of the resort, which I am thinking of buying snacks for the day there... Is it within walking distance or is it quite far and would need a lift/bus/car??

The large supermarket - Auchan is close by but not within walking distance - you either need to drive or it is one stop on RER
However there is a shop at the Esso garage next to the Santa Fe hotel or in the train station near the Village entrance where you can buy snacks cheaper than in the park
