Just how windy is Sea Breeze Point? I am looking at an Oct wedding at noon... thanks!

I've been there a number of times and it really isn't any "breezier" than anywhere else on the boardwalk. In fact, with all of the large buildings around it's never been terribly windy when I've been there, but of course it would just depend on the weather. October at noon should be really nice, although a bit warm maybe depending on how late in the month.

My wedding was 5 years ago on the upcoming 23rd and it was pretty breezy

Our minister and planner for our upcoming September wedding a SBP said not use a unity candle because it will not stay lit due to the breeze. So I assume that means that it is fairly breezy.

we were there last october i think we were there about the 19th october and it was really hot a really beautiful day as well we are hoping for SBP at noon in end of Sept as well

i wouldn't use a candle there, and it did blow my veil around a bit...but it was a nice 'breeze', definately not a gust. It made all of our wedding party and guests comfortable during our noon wedding. :)

I'm getting married there in May and we're having a Unity Candle setting. You can rent hurricane globes from Disney for $5 each. My planner said that sometimes the tapers will not stay lit (even inside), so don't take it as a bad omen if the tapers used to light the Unity Candle go out before we get the pillar lit. HTH.

I don't know what day you're talking about exactly, but try checking out this link. You can plug in your wedding day and see what the wind was like on that day back to 1996. There are also graphs on there that show you exactly when the wind came in. For instance - my date October 12 was windy last year avg. 9 mph with a peak of 24 mph at 2pm.

It's a great tool for all sorts of weather info on the day including rain and temperature!

To be honest, I think it just depends on the crazy Orlando weather. It could be really calm with a slight breeze or extremely breezy-you probably want to prepare your hair accordingly.

We were married there is May and it was not bad at all. We had a nice little breeze. It really depends on the weather that day.
