How booked does the BWV seemed to be in August?

Trying to decide if I should make a quick trip before fall semester. How are the crowds in early August?

The crowds in early August are pretty much the same as July, crowded but the parks are open late and all the nighttime entertainment is run nightly. However, I just tried to get a studio for Aug. 9-15 at BWV and they are all booked up.

As to how booked BWV is, you just need to call and find out if anything is available although usually summertime is easier to get than many other times of year. As to crowds in early August, they are the typical summer crowd--very large although not anywhere near as bad as Easter and Christmas, crowds start to go down some beginning mid-Aug.

Last year we booked one of the two remaining 2-BR units at BWV as soon as the 7 month window opened up. And this was for the August 19th to 23rd (fairly late in the month). I agree that the only way that you'll find out about availability is to call member services.

We have been vacationing in Aug. at Disney for the past 15 years. Although the parks are crowded they have extended hours. As most of us know Disney knows how to move the lines and we find it enjoyable during August. Usually we go to the parks early, return to the resort for a midday swim, and then return to the parks early evening. Since it is also very hot it is advisable to drink plenty of liquids preferably water. I think you will enjoy Disney at this time of year. Have fun! ;)
