For all of you who had your weddings in WDW... How many people were in your wedding party and how many guests attended and where did you have your ceremony and reception?

We had an intimate so, we had no attendants, and 9 guests. We were married at Sunset Pointe, at the Poly, then we had dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Disney weddings can be just the 2 of you to thousands of guests, one of the wonderful things about a Disney wedding.

Im having a custom wedding. We invited around 140 people and are having 8 attendants. I dont know how many people will actually come, but we are hoping for around 100!

We had 78 people there total, including the wedding party. We had 8 attendants in the wedding party. Our ceremony was at the Wedding Pavilion, followed by our pre-reception Illuminations party on the Italy Isola, then our reception at the American Adventure Rotunda. :)

We will be at Sunset Point and I don't want any guests. I think it is incredibly romantic to just be the two of us on the beach and only having to focus on each other! :cloud9:

Did your guests need park admission for this?

I just find this really interesting. I mean I'm no where close to getting married but I would absolutely love to be married in WDW.

Hi! We had 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen and 4 children in our bridal party. We had a total of 105 guests. Our ceremony was at the Wedding Pavilion and the reception was in the St. Augustine Room at the Grad Floridian. Can't believe it's been almost a year already (and everyone is still talking about it)!!

our wedding wasn't big at all. we had, maybe, in grand total of 30 people at our wedding. it was a nice little turn out for us, considering it was most of those we invited. maybe for our vow renewal we'll have more. we'll see.

Hello,

We got engaged in 1998 through Disney Fairy Tale Engagements, which I dont think they have anymore, its all done through Fairy Tale Weddings. We were married at the Wedding Pavillion in 2000 . We had 80 guests with 8 in our wedding party. Our wedding rehersal dinner was set up at Cape May and after dinner we had party boats take us to Epcot to watch Tapestry of Nations/Reflections of Earth. The wedding reception was held at the Grand Floridian. Wish I could do it all over again.

We had an intimate wedding. We invited 18 people, but there was a hurricane on my wedding day and only 2 people showed. We got married at the Yacht Club gazebo and had dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

99 Guests plus the 2 of us...4 women, 3 men, 1 infant, and 4 children in the wedding party

for our intimate in January, we are planning a total of 18 guests (the max), and included are the 4 attendants; 2 for me, 2 for him. Wedding Pavilion at 5pm, reception at Commander's Terrace in the GF. :wizard:

We're another couple that appreciated how accomodating Disney is to groups of all sizes. We had 18 guests, 5 of those were in the wedding party. Our ceremony was at the Wedding Pavilion and our cocktail hour and reception were at Ariel's at the Beach Club. After our reception, we capped off the night with a dessert party during Illuminations, held in the France Island section of the World Showcase.

If you hold part of your wedding ceremony or reception in the park, your guests do not need park passes. There are many locations that can work for each and every group size. I'm sure you'll find lots of information on here!

We had an Intimate. One attendant (my MOH) and 8 guests on Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge. It was perfect :cloud9:

There were 17 of us total. We had 5 bridesmaids and one best man.
Our ceremony was at the Yacht Club gazebo and we had a fabtastic reception at the American Adventure VIP room at Epcot.

My husband and I had a custom vow renewal. Our evening ceremony was held inside the Wedding Pavilion. It was short but sweet. Our ceremony was followed by a dinner party inside the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park. It was wild and crazy. ;)

Our dinner party was a progressive one. It began with a Handprint Ceremony in front of the Great Movie Ride. Afterwards, our guests moved inside the attraction for drinks and appetizers in the Gangster Area. Cocktails were followed by a sit-down dinner inside the Western Area. After dinner, everyone moved into the Land Of Oz Area for dessert. Once dessert had been completed, everyone moved outdoors for a dance party beneath the Sorcerer’s Hat Icon. At 2 AM, a custom fireworks display signaled the end to the most ~magical~ night of our lives. We’ll cherish the memories always.

There were 22 people at my vow renewal. I had two bridesmaids (daughter & niece) and two groomsmen (son & nephew).

Some folks have asked me a few questions privately about my vow renewal today. In case anyone else has questions, I thought it might help if I posted a link to my trip report about my FTW Planning Session: click here.

If you read that trip report, you’ll find that I went into a lot of detail about a lot of things. I have been fortunate to have seen a side of Disney that most people don’t get to see. It was important to me that I shared as much information as I could with the hope that it might help someone else. My trip report contains links to other trip reports and also to lots of photos. One of these days I hope to finish it for my children's sakes. ;)
