How big is a daybed?

In the GF or the Poly -- would a daybed be able to accommodate a smallish adult (5'3", 118 lbs.) or an average 10 year old? Or are we talking little kid daybeds here?

It was comfortable for my daughter when she was 10, but now she is a smallish adult size, 5'3" 113, and I think she would be a little cramped. It's been a while since we stayed at Yacht Club, so I could be wrong. If so, I hope someone will correct me!:p

We stayed at BC in April with a room that had a daybed. DD is 5'5" and said she was perfectly comfortable on the daybed. I thought it looked a bit small - smaller than a twin bed. I don't think anyone much over 5'6" would be happy with the daybed.

We stayed at the Poly last November and my husband slept on the daybed (he snores terribly - I would've preferred him in a different room). He's 5'10" and said it was very comfortable. Of course, having the male chromosone, he can sleep anywhere!

17yo ds(5'10") slept on the daybed at the Poly in August. He had no copmplaints. It looked to be the size of a regular twin bed.

An average sized adult should have no problems sleeping on the daybed.

Thank you. We really can't decide for the next trip what hotel to stay in. The finalists are Poly, GF, AKL, WL -- I guess we just have to go four more times and try them all! It helps to know that the beds can be allotted out in Poly & GF to each of us w/o having to share. Bunk beds at AKL & WL sound kind of fun too.
