How big is a Beer or glass of Wine at DCA?

I'm trying to explain things to someone else, I don't drink myself so please be specific as I am less likely to understand an analogy, and have no idea what would be 'normal' in any situation.

I don't drink wine but my beer at DCA today was around 12 ounces.

Wine is your standard 6 ounce pour. I am pretty sure the cups used for beer and margaritas are the 16 ounce yellow version of the red solo cups.

Ah, I remember my first/only beer at DCA...a 12oz Blue Moon for the same cost that I could have bought a 6 pack of Blue Moon at the store....
