How big an inconvenience is this?

To not be able to charge to your room card in and around the parks when staying at the Dolphin. We relied on this feature heavily and always have had our tickets transferred to our room card too. Can tickets be on room card at Dolphin? Or will I have tickets, room key and either credit card or $$$?
Just trying to be sure I understand the system.
Thanks! Sharon

We never found it to be a problem at all, but it's all what you're used to. We didn't mind carrying a credit card, they're so small you don't even notice them anyway. We do not like to charge back to the room because we found it WAY TOO convenient. We normally bring cash &/or money orders, so we can easily see what we have left to spend. We always carry a credit card anyway just in case of some emergency.

First of all I am not a fan of the Dolphin at all. It is a business person hotel. Now we did stay there when hubby was down there for business, and that is the only reason we stayed there. we stayed of the club level and found the food to be barely passble, in no way comparing to the concerige of the other hotels. The rooms are OK.

I found it to be HIGHLY inconvienent not being able to charge to the room. It really was an issue. I ended up having to carry cash and a visa because I could not see charging three cokes to the visa, but did not want to carry so much cash to buy the big items.

I stayed at SoG last year, so it's the same idea, and I found it to be very inconvenient. If you aren't used to being able to do it, you'll never notice the difference. But if you are used to having charge priveledges all over WDW, you will.

While not being able to charge to you room might be a small inconvenience - the location and price of this hotel (if you get discounts) is more than worth the slight trouble of actually having to use cash or another credit card. We stayed at the Swan in Dec and will definately be back there or to the Dolphin again.
I don't think the tickets can be on the room card either.

We don't usually leave a charge card for charging privileges at any WDW hotel. I find that when we do that we spend a lot more $$. I'd rather use travelers cheques and know how much $$ I'm spending each day.
