How bad will Presidents Weekend be?

I know it's going to be bad but how bad? Will there be park closures? We will be staying onsite. We've been to Disney a ton of times so we know what we like and don't like. No need for us to hit everything. On the 19th there are evening extra magic hours at MK. 11-2. How crowded will it be? I figured we will head over for fireworks and the electric parade and then hit some rides. Also we have no dining reservations and plan on just eating counter services when we get hungry. Am I absolutely insane?

I'm a more or less annual February visitor. I could be wrong, but I don't recall hearing about any phased closures during P-Week.

It will be busy, but with a sensible plan, you should be fine. To be honest, I'd be more likely to avoid EMHs during this period. MK open late pretty much every night that week---at least midnight---so unless you are *truly* night owls, there isn't much need to do EMH.
