Tonight I have to drive DD-I-L somewhere so I thought I would order a pizza for dinner. I called and placed the order then realized I did not give them my name. Well, when I went to pick the pizza up it was ready and waiting for me. They know my voice!!!!

The pizza shop down the street never asks for my name. It's a mom and pop shop so there's no phone number data base. We just order a lot of pizza.

I don't have that with the pizza place - but did have at the drug store all last year while picking up dad's prescriptions - they would see me coming and pull them - now I am 'known' at the music store - they see me coming and pull the right clarinet reeds for dd

Our regular pizza shop has our phone number in a database. I guess we are predictable. When we call in, they ask if we want a pepperoni and mushroom or a ground beef and onion. Those are our two favorites.

Pretty funny. We have a favorite local pizza joint and when we walk in, without asking, they start our pizza, bring our drinks, and even bring us a pair of clean scissors to cut the pizza up for our kids (they don't have any knives).

Our pizza place always recognizes me when I walk in and pulls out our pizzas w/o asking for a name. I knew we ordered way too often the day the manager actually saie"We really appreciate all your business." But hey with 5 kids involved in a lot of activities, sometimes pizza is the easiest thing to do.

I forgot to mention that we use Quicken to keep our checkbook. It reminds us when it's time to pay recurring bills. One night it reminded me it was time to pay our local pizza joint. We eat there often enough that it thought it saw a pattern.
