How bad is the seating at PFTS, really?

I've heard horror stories about their being a lack of seating and tables at PFTS. At $135 a ticket, I find this surprising. Can anyone give me a little insight?

They do not have enough seating for all attendees. It is not meant to be a sit-down dinner. You are supposed to wander from station to station and park at the tables to eat, then get back up and wander. It is therefore necessary to HOLD your table space if you want to keep it. A couple will not be able to wander around together at the same time as one would always have to be at the table to hold the space.

The best PFTS I ever spent was the one where I never bothered to sit down, just did the wandering.

We have never, ever had a problem with PFTS seating. Hubby grabs a table, we usually have plenty of people asking us if the other seats are taken, we say nope, have a seat and enjoy. We make lots of new friends.

Don't sweat it...PFTS is great!

We went last year and kind of stationed ourselves (4 of us) at a high-top table but found that we were wasting too much time trying to "hold" it one at a time AND too much time walking back and forth to the food stations farther from us. When we just abandoned the table and wandered around we enjoyed ourselves much more. Ended up grabbing a seat with some really great people towards the end when my belly was full and my feet were a little tired.

It was the best event we attended--dollarwise.

PFTS:confused3 ???? OOOO figured it out!!! Party for the Senses????
