How bad is the heat in August?

Bring some rags from your resort to wet. My 5 year old loved that. We had the misty mate but got tired of carrying it. We had the misty fan but got tired or holding it. The rags really worked.

No I didn't call Mousekeeping. We used the face clothes from our room. Got the idea from seeing other Toddlers cooling off with them. Worked very well. Our room had 4. We also are DVC members and had a washer and dryer in our room and washed them each night.

Nothing like an ice cold face cloth to cool you off in the heat. My DD loved putting it over her face or behind her neck.
