How bad is it really?

I am a pretty paranoid person and an uber planner and I am so excited to find others like me.

However, from all the mentions of not getting ADRs for where you want to go I am getting very scared! :scared:

I am going from March 9-15 of next year (a pretty busy time) and my 180 day mark is coming up in two weeks. (AKV I am so psyched! :woohoo: )

How bad is it really going to be? Am I likely to get what I want?

My plans (for TS) are:

March 9: Dinner 7 pm
Choices:
Liberty Tree Tavern (if I can get them to serve some veggie food which is unlikely)
Crystal Palace

March 10: Dinner 7 pm
Choices:
Cap 'n' Jacks
Wolfgang Puck Cafe

March 11: Dinner 5 pm
Choices:
Le Cellier
Teppanyaki

March 12: No TS

March 13: Dinner 6 pm
Boma

March 14: Dinner 7 pm
Choices:
Teppanyaki
Le Cellier

March 15: Breakfast (as early as possible)
Choices:
'Ohana
1900 Park Fare
Chef Mickey's

Information is appreciated.

You should be fine if you book as soon as your 180 day mark is here with all ...the only one I'd be at all concerned about is Le Cellier. But, at that time of year it probably won't be a problem. And it looks like you have good backup choices.

An immediate thought...I'd never try to do Ohana's, 1900 Park Faire and Chef Mickey's on the same day...er, unless you're really hungry people and not doing anything else (i.e. parks) that day

Usually, ADR's 180 days out would be easy to get, but you're going in the middle of college spring break season, so WDW may be pretty packed.

Out of the restaurants you list, I'd get ADR's for:

- Le Cellier
- LTT
- Boma
- 'Ohana
- Chef Mickey's
- Teppanyaki

I really don't think you'd have a problem with the others listed, even at that time of year.

Assuming most of the listings were backups, you shouldn't have to make all that many ADR's overall.

Since you already seem to have your plan and know what days you want to dine at what places, my advice would be to go ahead and call the morning of your 180 day point and make the ADRs.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, effect the changes in the DDP will have on the availability of TS ADRs.

If you call at 180 days at exactly 7am Eastern time you should get right through and get all of your first choices.

I made my reservations for President's Week 2008 with no problems. I called at 6:58 and then speed dialed until the message changed from the after hours to the daytime message, then got right through. I had 12 ADRs over 10days to make and only had to call back on the actual 180 day mark for the Downtown Disney restaurant. (The CM said they don't open the ADRs until the actual 180 day mark for these restaurants).

Once my ADRs were made I was so relaxed! I had no idea how stressed I was until that call was finally placed  .
