HI, how bad/long r the lines for the attractions in Disney? Last year we went in August but we were there during Hurricane Fay. We did not have to wait in any lines at all! The rain scared alot of people away. We had a great time dispite all the rain. This year I hope we will not have a hurricane but I'm alittle worried about the lines. Do u wait in lines for hours? Last year we walked right up to the Safari in AK, no wait at all...I'm sure its not usually like that! Thanks

There is no way to answer this.

It depends on the time of year and the time of the day. The line for Dumbo at 1:00 PM on Dec 25 is no where near the line on Jan 14 at rope drop.

If you are going the same time as last year (3rd week in Aug) the lines should be shorter then just a few weeks before. From mid Aug on, schools start to go back until most everyone is back the day after Labor Day.

But other things effect the crowds. The 4/3 deal seemed to do the trick and crowds are up this spring. Of course Easter is the big influence this time of year and since it changes from year to year it will vary when the crowds will be here.

Late Aug they start free dining which gives a little bump to the empty nesters and this year it starts a week earlier.

So pick a good time of year the lines are totally insane like 4 hours for Soaring. Pick a time like Mid January and there are 30 people at the water park and its a private party.

when we were there in January by mid day the lines for major attractions were about 30-45 minutes. In the mornings, much less. Big time rides like toy story mania and soarin were over an hour by mid day. Totally doable lines if you use the fastpass system.

My sister was just there last week and she said the lines weren't too bad...mostly 45 minutes for rides...right now I would guess they are longer because its easter week.

We always have the same touring strategy. If we anticipate crowds, I wanna be a the park at rope drop to enjoy a bunch of rides before the park gets crazy....we tend to not travel during really crowded times. In the last few years we have done october, novemeber, may and january. I for one would NEVER go to disney during christmas, easter, thanksgiving...any major holidays, but that's just me...I know I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself as much.

We were in EP yesterday and the longest wait I saw was 120 mins for Soarin' and this was at 10:30am. We FP'ed it:) TT wait was 90 mins so when we could get anothe FP at 12, we did. It was for 7pm. Everything else we got right on! Longest wait for anything else was 10 mins TOPS! It was a great day over there! We didn't get in the park till almost 10am. I was scared of not making it for the famous "rope drop", but it's our vacation and we didn't want to rush. It was not a problem to not make it for the rope drop for us. Just use your FP's wisely and you'll have a great time:goodvibes

The lines could be 3 hours or 5 minutes. No way till know with the info you gave.
