Hey, I'm new here.:) :earsgirl:

My family & I are planning on a WDW trip for my sweet 16. We're currently debating on whether to go Thanksgiving week or sometime in October. I was wondering, (since I've only been in WDW in :sunny: Summer & Spring :sunny: ) how bad are the crowds during this time???

If you have been in the summer, then expect about the same level of crowds, but better weather. We were there this past Thanksgiving and the crowds got heavy on the day before and stayed heavy through the weekend, still not near as bad as Christmas or Easter though. I would not hesitate to go that week again. October is no longer off-season and there were reports of heavy crowds from this past October. I would go either time, the weather is great in the Fall.

I think it was pretty crowded while we were there back in November, but really not unbearably so. The one place we noticed it most was at MGM. But, we managed to pick the two most crowded days there.:) If you get to the parks early, and use Fast Pass wisely, you can still get a lot done. The Saturday before, we hit MK at 9:00 and by 1:00 we had done all of Frontierland (the rides), Adventureland and some of Liberty Square. And, still got a few more rides in in the afternoon.
