How awful will Universal be December 28?

My DD's MS/HS marching band is going to the Outback bowl to be part of the massed band at the end of this year, and they have planned to fly into MCO Dec. 27, go to Universal Dec 28, then on to Tampa by bus to begin the Outback bowl activities and fly homr to PA on Jan. 2. I have ALWAYS avoided any vacationing around Christmas because I hate crowds. BUT (there is always a but, right?) I am chaperoning this trip.

One day at Universal during Christmas week - how awful will it be? I already tried to talk the planning committee out of doing this, not even a glimmer of hope that they will pick something else to do. Tell me the truth...I think...

Ughhhhhhh!!!! Why don't people listen? I TRIED to tell them. A one day ticket is going to be insanely expensive and the kids aren't going to get to do anything. How early will we be able to get a bunch of teenagers moving on Christmas break? I bet I end up hiding in a corner of knockturn alley, lol.

i've left my sons when they were teens back in the room and went to the park .....

they evenually started getting up early so we could all go together
it only took two times for them to change up their schedule.

wish you luck....i had to deal with 3 sons in their teens on that trip.
