How awful it is to stay off-site?

I don't think it matter for your week, especially if you'll be there on a Sunday.Look at the trip reports for people at WWOHP this week. Your week will be just as slow as it is now. Maybe slower. People are getting right on FJ as long as they arrive early. Even if they're not staying onsite. I looked into it for Dec 12 and it would cost 500 minimum for two rooms. The only benefit for HP is to be able to enter 45-60 minutes earlier. The advantage disappears after that.

If you could swing it, I think it would be better to add more days to your trip.

Thanks for response Molly. Unfortunately, we can't add any more days to the trip, so we're limited to working with four. It would definitely make my life easier decision-wise to go for at least a week!

In the end, I think I'm going to go for the Annual Pass, which provides an amazing discount to the RPR, and then I can get the benefit of the FOTL, which will allow us to save time all-round and give us time to go to another park possibly (debating at the moment between SeaWorld and Kennedy Space Centre - any opinions?).
