Prices seem to be heading north every day, and from what is being said, no relief in the near future. What are your area costs?

MSNBC news item

Rates in NW suburban Chicago are in the $1.89 range for regular, about $0.10 more for each the middle and premium grades.

This might help a bit

The range shown on that interactive above is from a low of $1.29 in Temple, GA to $2.59 in San Diego, CA, national average, $1.76.

I can normally get 1.56 with my discount card for a local grocery store. I think the average is around 1.65 though in Indy.

I think it was $1.70 something last time I went, just not exactly sure how much.

$1.46 w/ discount card $1.49 without.

Heard a little thing on the news Friday that said Ky had the lowest average gas rates in the nation last week and that Louisville had the lowest in Ky.

Maybe I just won't go out of town..

Edited to add, unless I go to Temple, Ga

Around $1.65 for regular and $1.85 for premium.

.65 cents a lire (3.8 litres to US gallon) Canadian=2.47 /us gal
So with the exchange($1 = it would be about 3.08 a gallon
:( :(

Last week gas was also arround 77 cents. Do not expect the gas will stay at 65 for long. Filled the tank last night

It's been at least 76.9 cents/liter here lately.

Converting liters to gallons, that works out to $2.91/gallon Canadian... which using today's exchange rate is equivalent to $2.21 US.

(Edited to add... obviously Mike and I are using much different conversion rates. I used 3.7854118 liters to a gallon, and $1 CDN = $ 0.757920 USD)

The cheapest place was $1.57/1.59 around here.

The usual is about 1.65 or so.

The one good thing about it, is that where I live its all self serve. Its illegal for you to pump your own gas!

So at least I feel that I am getting something for my $$$!

Hubby just fill the car today at $1.71, but closer to Raleigh--its more like $1.65-1.69.

WOW! There's a huge difference in prices right in the state of KY. We paid $1.67 a gallon tonight in Bowling Green, KY and that was after hunting around for the cheapest place.

AAA reports average price of $l.,77 across the country. We have l.74 here in SE MN< altho Twin Cities is l.59.

I like the following website for gas info.

www,gasbuddy.com

herc

1.69 right by my house, which has consistently had the cheapest prices that i've seen all over town

$1.71 per gallon for 87 octane unleaded...but $1.86 for 93...

and I have a couple rides i have to use the 93 octane...

as the old saying goes...."it passes everthing on the road except a gas station"....

$2.25 for medium today...

Gas here will hit that high occasionally, but, doesn't stay that high very long.

I'm lucky that I have two stations very close to me that are the last to raise prices. So, I always check the other stations that raise prices first as I drive home from work. If I see that prices have increased, I stop at one of the cheaper ones and fill up.

Saved a lot of money that way, considering that prices will frequently go up 20 or 25 cents per gallon. Of course, they always start dropping the next day a few cents a day until they back to the price they started at.

Go figure.

Regular today was $1.67. It seems to change on a daily basis here in Southern NH. Not looking forward to summer pricing.

ITA, Cindy!

I paid $1.65 for regular at an Amoco (how many of those can you find anymore?) last week, and consider it a bargain after checking in here.
