We had the thunder showers last August and the September before that. As others have said, they come and go in the late afternoon. I always look at it as a nice break, actually!
This year we are loading up on the 99cent ponchoes from CVS. They are see-thru so they will be allowed at Disney, and you can just throw them away when you're done with them each day. I found buying, storing and folding up those Disney pnchoes a drag - and at 6 or 7 bucks a piece, no bargain!
The storms never stopped us from going about the parks - have fun!

So, with that in mind, our last WDW trip was in August, 2003. We got pounded by thunderstorms, long ones. The kind that really killed the whole day. It was virtually impossible to continue touring the parks without being a total drowned rat. But that's just ME. I don't know what a dry WDW trip is.![]()
