How are the storms and rain at WDW?

Just wondering how bad it got and/or still is.

It rained yesterday and today...yesterday it lasted about an hour and a half then another little shower later. Not too bad really. Today it rained from 3:30ish-8 or so, some lightning and thunder but didn't seem too severe.

Out of all our trips the only time we had alot of rain that lasted awhile was 2 years ago in August. It was a down pour for about 2 hours. All of our other trips we experienced light showers that lasted 10-15 minutes throught some days.

Had a GREAT night in the MK tonight! Spent a warm, partly sunny day at Blizzard Beach then arrived at MK at around 4:30. Started raining right about when we arrived. It was pouring buckets for about 90 min or so and lightning. Splash and BTMRR were down for a while. However, just about all the rides were either walk-on or very short waits. (Although Peter was 35 when we walked by it.)

When the FL mountains opened back up we rode multiple times with zero wait. Rode Space and Buzz with no wait at about 9:15.

We loved MK in the pouring rain!

The last two days it's rained starting around 3 and lasting until 7-8. It probably varies some from park to park--sometimes one area seems to get worse than the other--but it was pouring near the Boardwalk and then near the GF when we were at both today. It rained so hard the sidewalks were covered with water and your feet got soaked because the water couldn't drain fast enough. However, both nights were beautiful--and Epcot crowds were very light last night and the same for MK tonight.

The worst part of us has been getting to dinner reservations--we've resorted to taking cabs both nights, because we've gone from BWV to other hotels and there's just no direct way to do it without having to run through the rain somewhere.

When we go we have had some rain showers...typically the afternoon ones. We saw some clouds coming in at mk and headed back to the bwi. We loved sitting out on our balcony watching the rain on the lagoon we have gotten caught in the parks in rain showers. it is very shocking how cold it gets when it rains. You go from sweltering heat to freezing very quickly.
