How are the sofa beds?

How are the sofas in the living room in a villa (probably either BCV or BWV)? I will be traveling with my DM and figured to give her the bedroom and I take the sofa bed in the living room.

We slept on a safa bed in the 2nd BR of of a BCV for a week during a trip a few years ago, and it really wasn't all that bad for us...

I had my DM sleep on the sofa bed at BWV 2 yrs ago and she had no problems. She was 79 at the time. Out did both me and my DH.

They are pretty decent. My wife and son sleep fine every trip. I was surprised myself. For a few days its doable. We've stayed at BWV 3 times.

They are excellent quality. They don't feel like a normal sofa bed. We stay in studios most of the time. We're a family of 4: DH, me, DS 11, DS 7 and none of us mind the sofa bed.

DD has slept on the sofa's at SSR, BWV, and VWL. She thought the SSR was the best. But DH and I liked BWV the best since we didn't have to figure out where to put the sofa cushions - they just stayed attached to the bed. But she says they are all comfortable and the last few trips shared with a friend.

I'll be the lone dissenter. Recently we've stayed at VWL, SSR and AKV. DD14 shared sofa beds in all 3 locations with a friend. She said they were "OK", but she did complain of a slight backache the following day. She would MUCH prefer a real bed, and I think next time I'll take an Aerobed if we really need to get a 1BR instead of a 2BR.

BUT - we are pretty spoiled - I always try to get a 2BR for our summer trips and there are only 3 of us!!! We just all really like our own bed on vacation.

My daughter will be glad to know how comfortable the new sofa beds are. Our last trip they still the old ones.
