How are the nachos in Epcot? Can I get them very basic/plain?

We really just like chips, meat and cheese (well, I like sour cream and tomatoes too, but DH is super picky). (Even just chips & cheese would be good)

I was hoping to get nachos this year while at Epcot. Can we modify them to our very bland taste? Are they topped with real, melted cheese or a cheese sauce?

I don't know about inside Epcot but over at the ESPN Club at the BWV, they have super yummy nachos. I usually order mine w/cheese & chili.

I had a horrible nacho experience at the CS in Mexico in October 2007.

I ordered nachos, but without beans. They refused to do a special order for me, stating that the beans were on the side. By side they meant top side! The ENTIRE order was covered with beans. Picking around the beans, everything else was cold. Even paying $7 and change for nachos, I threw the rest out. There was nothing salvageable about them.

We also had horrible nachos from the CS in Mexico. It is definitely cheese sauce which I cannot stand and the chips were not crunchy at all. They tasted a bit stale. I love nachos but wouldn't get them from Epcot.

I had the nachos at the CS in Mexico too. They were okay, nothing to write home about. I've definitely had better!

They will tell you it's on the side and will no do anything else. And like pp "on the side" means on top of everything. My dh hates sour cream and mayo with a passion like it touches his food or comes on the plate it's thrown in the trash. So when they said it was on the side I didn't think twice. WRONG. I ended having to eat the nachos and dh got the combo plate.

THANKS everyone!! I'm thinking we're going to skip the Epcot nachos -- thinking about going to ESPN though -- that sounds good!
