How are the Milkshakes at The Dolphin Fountain?

This August I am thinking of walking over to The Dolphin Fountain and getting one of their Milkshakes from their take out area, so I was wondering how would you compare them to the ones at Beaches & Cream and Ghiaradelli? Two of my friends from Orlando tell me they are among the best located on WDW property, so I was wondering what others thought of them?

I haven't had a milkshake at Ghiradelli but yes, they're comparable to the ones at Beaches & Cream. They're very good, they have lots of different ice creams and toppings. I had a cheesecake one that was fabulous.

Give it a try. There is very rarely a line. You can get one from the walk up window or at a table just like Beaches & Cream.

IMHO, the Fountain has some of the best ice cream at the World. My FIL had a milkshake a few weeks ago and he agreed with my assessment regarding how great the ice cream is.

DBF had The Fountain's Coco Loco shake in December of '09 - he really enjoyed it



(And I know this wasn't your question, but I had a sundae there and it was really good too!)

Just an FYI: the food here is AMAZING!!,
We love it here. It really is a best kept-secret. Wonderful service, rarely crowded, awesome food, ice cream and sundaes!
