We were there Monday also, and I know better than to go to MK on a Monday. We had done alot of the "must dos" the day before so we went to Fronteirland at 9:00 and covered that area which was empty. BUT by 12:00 the people were pouring in Main Street and we ran out to escape the crowds.
Having the barricades up in front of the Castle and the 2 rides closed in Fantasyland did make it seem more crowded. We were there the same time last year and the crowds were light. The Super Bowl did bring in people who may have gone at another time. (us included)
On a brighter note, we went to MGM at 4:00 and had dinner, after that the park was empty! Everyone was heading to Fantasmic and we walked on ToT, Muppets, Star Tours and Movie Ride. But we remembered to leave before Fantasmic was over at 7:25 to beat the crowd out.
