How are the crowds mid-Dec?

We are considering a 3 day trip to Disney the weekend of Dec.17th. Does anyone know how the crowds are that close to Christmas? I am concerned about long waits, big crowds, etc. We were at Disney this past June and it was very crowded.

We've gone down to WDW in early December. The crowds were minimal. It was a great time to go! The decorations are wonderful, and not many lines for anything. Make sure you buy tickets for the Very Merry Christmas Party at the MK. Check the Disney website for exact dates and buy your tickets in advance, they're $5.00 cheaper. It's a little crowded, but not too bad. It's something you don't want to miss! Also check out the Osborne light decorations at MGM, it's great! Have a wonderful time!
