How are the crowds Labor Day week?

We're planning a trip for September and I want to go the week after Labor Day but dh wants to maximize our vacation days at work.

Can someone tell me what the crowds are like the week of Labor Day? I would think it's nuts. I was there President's Day weekend and couldn't wait to leave the parks.

If it's crazy I'm sure I can convince dh to wait a week

You'll be fine! Labor Day weekend is busy but the crowds will thin out as the week goes on.

Not bad at all. It'll be moderately busy during the weekend itself and fairly dead thereafter.

This is our preferred week to go. Our first year we went the week after and last year we went the week of Labor Day and it was wonderful. The only wait to ride was just the walk to the ride itself. In fact during EMH we were able to ride BTMRR several times in a roll. DH and DD rode Splash Mtn several times in a roll as well.

That's so surprising. So do you find the weekend of Labor Day busy and then it lightened up like the previous poster said?
