I felt pretty good about my ressies, until some other threads have gotten me concerned about our split stay. I have until Saturday to make changes, so please help!!

My DD 10 months, DFather, and DMother and I will be traveling in mid-May. It's DD's first trip :yay: and none of us have been to the MK in 30 years (I have been to AK and EPCOT recently). Right now, the plan is to stay 2 nights at the FW cabins and then move to CSR. I chose FW because of the convenience of the boat to the MK, plus the cost is slightly less than 2 moderate rooms (not substantially less, due to cart rental). I thought moving to CSR would be good because we could then enjoy their pool, plus close proximity to AK and EPCOT. Does this sound reasonable, or should we just stay 4 nights at FW cabins? :confused3 We will have a car, if that matters.

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

I would definitely stay the 4 nights at the FW Cabins. A 4 night stay is too short for a split stay, in my opinion.
On your move day you would have to check out of the first resort by 11 AM. You would not be guaranteed a room at your new resort until after 4 PM. You very likely would not get a room earlier. You would have no where for DD to nap.
Plus a 10 month old requires a lot of "equipment":rotfl2: The hassel of packing, unpacking, packing, unpacking just would not be worth it to me.
Enjoy your trip

I agree on a shorter trip it will be more of a hassle then it will be worth, now if you were staying more like 8 to 10 days I would say go for it.

DD is a late napper - usually a long nap between 7-10, so not being able to use a room in the middle of the day may not be much of an issue for us. Keep the opinions coming!! :wizard:

I would not split stay for 4 nights... and I am a big fan of split stays. Personally, I loved CSR and if the cost isn't too different, I would just stay there the whole time. Better pool area, food court, etc... I thought the bus transport was great at CSR.

Have fun!

May is good pool weather, I would keep the split with CSR, you will love the pool there.
