How are hotels at early check in?

Mainly Best Western Park Place.

We are hoping to get an early flight, as we only have 2 days - actually 1 1/2 days at DL. I know check-in is not until around 3pm-ish, so I am hoping that we can at least have them hold our bags until check in or something.

Do hotels have problems with early check-ins and/or holding bags for families until check-in?

If it will be a big issue, we will just focus on a later flight.

Early check-in is based on what they have ready when you get there. I have not heard of a place that will not hold your bags.
