How are crowds the week before & Thru Labor Day weekend?

We went the week after Labor Day and crowds were low. But we can't miss school again this year. How is the week before?

We just go for the weekend and it's crowded but not unbearable. I believe the weekdays are not very crowded. The past 2 years the temp's have been in the 90's.
