Looking to go to Universal and IOA the 2nd week in May. We will have 3 kids (11,6,3) with us .
This is our first time to Universal so if there is something my kids shouldn't miss let me know!

I'm curious too. We are thinking of spending a few days at US/IOA around that time. We have been before but usually in Jan/Feb.

Your older kids are going to love it. They should be able to go on most of the rides. Check out the height requirements on the website. Unfortunately the little one may not be able to go on much unless he/she is tall.

If your kids like Nick-check out the Jimmy Neutron ride. My kids will go on Spiderman again and again and again. All of Suess land is great.

The huge playground at Jurrasic Park is very fun-make sure you have good shoes for all the rope bridges. And you hear Dino's roaring and footsteps which even freaked me out a little.

If its HOT check out the water playground(Curious George) Everyone can play there and there is a fun ball pit area in the back. You can get soaked so bring swimsuits or change of clothes.

There is not a bad ride in the park-you will have a blast.:goodvibes

The time between spring break and Memorial Day weekend isn't that busy so you shouldn't have any problems with lines. At IOA, they will love Seuss Landing and at the Studios they will love the Curious George play area and Woody Woodpecker Kids Zone. Not to mention Shrek and E.T.

When I went the first week of May in 2006, IOA was very crowded with school trips. I was disappointed with the crowds. We wound up buying the Express Passes(we weren't staying at Universal) so we wouldn't have to wait on the long lines. US was not crowded at all.

Just got back. My kids are 7 and 4. They loved Spiderman and Jimmy Neutron and The Simpsons.

OP here. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Thanks for the info. We are first timers! Looking forward to going!!:cool1:

I'm kind of worried about that myself...we are going the beginning of the third week. But then, I guess most of the school kids won't have FOTL, so it's probably not something to worry too much about?

If you're staying onsite, the lines won't matter much to you.

Okay, I know that Memorial weekend will surely be very busy...
But, what about mid-week that last week of May???? ( AFTER memorial monday)
Do any of you experts have any idea???

Seems a thread from last may said it was absolutely crazy busy at Memorial Day.

Many schools are still in session... so I have my fingers crossed...

I didn't realize that we would be in Orlando during Memorial day... I was thinking that it was the week leading up to it! :scared1:
