How are crowds now with free dining plan??

Hey! We leave in 7 days! Whoopee!!! How are the crowds now with the free dining plan? I hope they aren't too bad!

my parents are down there this week for this an last i spoke with them it was very crowd free and relaxing. They said the only ride they waited for was the new soarin ride at epcot everything else they just walked right onto. i'll try to get more imformation out of them but it seems you've picked a great time to go!

2 weeks ago there was no crowd till Thursday afternoon when the holiday weekend crowd started to arrive even then it wasn't bad.

We walked onto Soarin early am and was told we could stay on and ride the 2nd time without getting off.

We just came back Monday night and there was hardly anybody there last weekend. No lines at all. Very peaceful and stress free.

We showed up at Chef Mickey's for dinner one night with no ressie's and had a table in about 5 minutes. It's a great time to be there right now.

Wow! I've heard a lot of people recently saying that they were able to stay on a ride and ride again. That would be so awesome! Hope that happens to us! I just know that all of the dining reservations we've tried to make have been booked up. That makes me a little concerned that maybe the parks are going to be crowded, but maybe just the restaurants will be crowded. Anyhow, thanks for the info! Can't wait!

We were there the last week of August and thought the parks were the emptiest we've seen them in a long time. I don't think the dining promotion had much of an impact on the crowds.

Maybe it's less crowded on the rides because everyone is eating their free food in the restaurants?
