We just got back from Disney 2 days ago :guilty: ! I already want to plan our next trip for 2008!!! Am I a Disney addict or what? Anyway, early June is a nice time to go, but I wish the heat was not so bad. I like that the parks are open late, but was trying to come up with another time to go. My kids fall break is usually sometime around the 24th or 25th of October. We have like 2 days that week for fall break(Thursday and Friday), and they also have parent teacher conferences for 2 days before that, so they are not in school. How are the crowds that time of year. Also, what about hurricanes and is it still warm enough to swim? Is that value season or peak season? Thanks for any info you can give me!!!

We went from the 28th - 30th last year it was a hoodie in the AM and great the rest of the day.

Crowds very low didn't rely on Fastpass all that much compaired to next week when we go.

DD did get in POP's pool for a while but we were to buzy with only having 3 days to get in all 4 parks.

Hurricanes once on-sight you don't have to worry Disney has the highest rating from the NOAA and they can hit anywhere from June until Nov .

Loved MNSSHP trying to get a few days in as well just for the party. We have to wait a bit until DD school calender comes out .We are already takeing her out a few days for our X-mas trip.

We went last October and had a great time, in fact we already booked for this October. We didn't have to Fastpass any of the rides we wanted to go on. We went the last week of October and were able to use the pool at the hotel. The crowds were lighter than when we went in April. We try to avoid EMH days so maybe it paid off for us.

This is my very favorite time of year to go. We have had three mid to end of October trips. The weather is warm, but no uncomfortable humidity. Just beautiful. It is regular season. Last year was a little busier than usual because those without power from hurricane Wilma headed to WDW. Otherwise I felt like there were just enough people around to make it fun. Wilma passed through south of WDW during the night. Parks were closed in the morning, but MK and Epcot opened at 1 pm for onsite guests and stayed open late that night.

I love MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival and both occur in that timeframe.

Okay, now I want to plan for October 2008, too :)

We were there in Oct in 2004 (and I remember it was over the 24-25th, my mother and sister's birthdays!) and it was quite busy. However, that was the year that string of hurricanes hit Florida and a lot of people had rebooked their trip for that week.

We go every October....we'll be down there from the 27th of Oct thru Nov 3.....got tic's for MNSSHP already and am anxiously awaiting the F&W schedule to come out.....it's a great time to go....people are there, but not bad at all!!!!! Weekends the parks get a little more crowded, and we also stay away from any school holiday if we can help it!
