How are crowds at EMH evenings?

It does not work for families with small children. They don't make it past 8pm any evening.

Guess it depends on the family. Our children normally aren't awake until 7:30-8am, and I couldn't imagine waking them early just to make an 8am rope drop at an EMH park.

We always take a mid-day nap break, so our little ones still have more than enough juice left at 8pm.

With regard to the May EMH test, we attended one night and weren't that impressed with the results. MGM closed at 7pm, and also had a 7pm Fantasmic. We attended Fantasmic. I imagine that those who did not go to Fantasmic had ToT and RnR to themselves for about 30 minutes. But as soon as the show let out, the standby and FastPass queues were quickly swamped. We also noticed that many of the shops were closed. I bet the results will be much better at other parks, and perhaps even at MGM with some of the kinks worked out.
